Boyd School of Law, UNLV, in 2018, Brent served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Nevada Supreme Court for two years prior to starting in private practice in Nevada.
Brent gained his critical wealth legal acumen by practicing law in Nevada with other experienced Nevada attorneys, first in a boutique, small-firm setting, where he learned corporate transactions and business formation, and then in Big Law, where he learned intellectual property prosecution and business litigation. Brent also has experience working as an in house attorney for a local billion+ dollar Nevada company, and working effectively as general counsel for his many local small business and entrepreneur clients. He has handled various matters in all stages for his clients across disciplines, jurisdictions, and governing bodies. Brent has worked with and learned from multiple prominent leaders in Nevada's legal community, drawing from their experience in multiple client practice areas, client jurisdictions, and client industries.
Brent knows Nevada law. His experience includes entity formation, corporate governance, gaming compliance, cannabis board compliance, employment law, intellectual property (prosecution, transactions/licensing, and enforcement/litigation), civil litigation, real property transactions, in the hospitality, gaming, cannabis, construction, banking, and software/tech/start up industries- and many more.
Brent also knows the Nevada courts and agencies that enforce Nevada law.
Brent has served the court system of the State of Nevada from within and in private practice. Drawing from his prior clerkship experience with the court, Brent has diligently represented, defended, and guided Nevada companies, small businesses, and local entrepreneurs through any complex, esoteric rule of administrative or civil procedure applicable to the matter at hand.
Given the depth and scope of his experience, you can rest easy knowing that, whether your matter is before the Nevada Pharmacy Board, in Nevada business court, or on appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court, it is in good hands with Brent.
